Biggest ever stand for Atlas Copco

Atlas Copco, taking its largest ever stand at Intermat - covering a 2000 m2 area, including space for Dynapac - is focusing on energy, whether in the form of high output generators or fuel efficient machines.
The new fifth generation of Dynapac's CA single drum vibratory rollers, comprising the CA5000, CA6000 and CA6500 will be part of the company's Intermat launches. These offer static linear loads of 50, 60 and 65 kg/cm, respectively, and all three use new Stage IIIB Deutz engines. The engines have been installed in a transverse configuration, which means that the rollers are not any longer than their predecessors. Dynapac says the cabs have been improved on the previous range.
Also from Dynapac comes a new range of F series and SD series wheeled asphalt pavers with working widths of 2 m to 9 m. The range includes the F2500W, the SD2500W and the SD2300WS, all powered by Cummins QSB 6.7 diesel engines. New features on the SD models include a slideable operator's platform and an integrated levelling system. All three models also have a new undercarriage design with new 445 mm wide, low profile tyres.
Atlas Copco's Portable Energy division will show a wide range of its compressors, power generators and also the WEDA pumps that are now part of its line-up. Notable products will include the QAC 1250, the company's first 1 MW generator, fitted into the same container as the previous largest model, the QAC 1000. This is its first outing at a major exhibition since the launch last summer.
In drilling and crushing equipment Atlas Copco will also be showing some new products. The new Powercrusher PC 4 is a jaw crusher with a capacity of up to 300 t/hr, weighing 45 t and designed for use in small to medium sized quarries. The inlet opening is 1.25 m by 0.65 m and the gap width is 50-150 mm. The Powercrusher range was added by Atlas Copco in 2010 with its acquisition of Hartl Anlagenbau of Austria.
New drilling technology, meanwhile, comes in the form of the EDGE drill monitor for down the hole hammer drilling. Jointly developed by Atlas Copco and SPC Technology, EDGE continuously monitors drilling operations, giving the drill operator a graphical display of real-time information. The device can be fitted to all deep hole drill rigs that use Secoroc DTH hammers.
Also on show will be the new T-WiZ range of drill strings, which combine the T-WiZ Speedrods and T-WiZ shank adapters and offer up to 30% longer service life than its predecessors. Atlas Copco says this means "fewer rod changes and more productivity per shift". The drilling system comes in three sizes, T38, T45 and T51.
Finally, the new HB 4100 hydraulic breaker is a 4 t class breaker suitable for use on 40 to 70 t carriers. The new model replaces the HB 4200 and is 130 kg lighter. Atlas Copco says the 4100 offers improved performance, and the lighter weight means that it can be used on smaller carriers, reducing operating costs.
