The BigMove group, a European special and heavy haulage logistics network comprising 15 companies from across Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria and Poland, has just taken delivery of 21 extendable MegaMax low bed semi-trailers with pendular axles and hydraulic suspension from trailer manufacturer Faymonville.

According to Faymonville, the MegaMax low bed semi-trailer is suitable for transporting high goods, industrial parts or machines. The semi-trailer has low beams with a height of just 225 mm. It also says the MegaMax offers manoeuvrability and flexibility in use with a steering angle of 60 degrees thanks to its pendular axles and a total lift of 600 mm.

“The manoeuvrability and stability of the Faymonville semi-trailers is very good. The fact that the low bed is equipped with pendle axles and therefore [is suitable] for an axle load of 12 tonnes was one of the decisive factors behind our decision to order,” said Ralf Reschka, administration director at BigMove.
