BKL to sell Wolffkran towers
04 October 2011
Wolffkran has struck a deal with international crane services provider Baukran Logistik (BKL) to sell and rent its tower cranes.
BKL aims to unite leading European crane manufacturers under one roof. "We want to be able to offer our clients the right crane for any construction site," said Alexander Volz, BKL managing director.
According to Wolffkran, this latest partnership offers more than the enrichment of BKL's product offering. "Single-source supply is a service philosophy we share with BKL," explained Peter Schiefer, Wolffkran managing partner.
To mark the joint effort a Wolffkran tower crane was erected at the site of the new BKL branch office in Frankfurt, Germany, for the opening ceremony in September.
The demand for cranes in the 100 to 300 tonne-metre class is particularly high, said Wolffkran, especially in the middle and northern European markets. Suitable for this area is the Wolff 6031.12. "Wolffkran cranes are renowned among purchasers for their reliability and durability, and among leasers for their rapid assembly and disassembly, and their efficiency in all load ranges," said Volz.
