Bouygues will fit AGS collision avoidance systems to all its tower cranes

Collision avoidance system specialist AGS in France will supply its equipment for tower cranes to Bouygues Construction Matériel over several years. It will renew the existing fleet and new cranes will be fitted with AGS systems.

Bouygues Construction and AGS projects in France at the time of writing included: the Philharmonie of Paris in the Parc de la Villette; the new shopping center of Beaugrenelle, Paris; development of the Laennec hospital quarter in Paris; and the Ministry of Defence, Paris.

An innovation underway with AGS is to reduce the need for dismantling and removing the anti-collision system components and cabling when cranes are erected and disassembled. It will simplify the work and save time.

In addition to anti-collision systems, other products offered by AGS, for sale or for rent, include anemometers and an air warning beacon.
