Bronto giant makes first appearance at Platformers' Days
26 August 2009
The machine makes an appearance at the show after Platformers' Days organisers Oliwer Sven Dahms and Reinhard Willenbrock approached the company about attending. The organizers said that Janne Niska, managing director of the company, is showing the machine to underline its aim to be a European rental player.
Despite difficult business conditions, Platformers' Days looks like being a worthwhile trip. In addition the Bronto giant, South Korean manufacturer Junjin is exhibiting and there are over 80 other brands represented, including Skyjack, UpRight and Aichi. Irish rental company Height for Hire/Easi Uplifts is also exhibiting for the first time.
Genie, Haulotte and JLG are not on the exhibitors list, although Genie dealer Wienold will be at Hohenroda.
Among the machines on show will be UpRight's new X43RT twin deck rough terrain scissor, being shown at a German exhibition for the first time, and receiving what UpRight's sales and marketing director, Richard Tindale, calls its "global launch" at the show.
"UpRight Powered Access Deutschland launched at Platformers' Days last year and was the star of the show", said Mr Tindale, "We have given Holger the global launch of the X43RT because we want to help his team build on this success."
Platformers' Days takes place in Hohenroda, north of Frankfurt, Germany on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 August from 10.00 am until 18.00 pm each day.
