Buckingham Group secures Rolls Royce demolition work

Buckingham Group has started work on a +£1 million (US$1.6 million) contract to clear the East Works site at the Rolls Royce plc site at Filton, Bristol. Work being carried out includes considerable asbestos remediation, decommissioning, dismantling and demolition, and is due for completion by the end of this summer.

Buckingham director Tim Brown stated: "Following further significant investment in specialist plant and equipment, we are delighted to have secured this demolition project based on the price and the quality of our service. Buckingham Group Contracting has an experienced Land Regeneration Team and provide a high quality service which together enables us to make a major impact in the remediation, demolition, clearance and asbestos removal sector."
