The Dubai-headquartered company held three events in Saudi Arabia at its Yanbu, Jubail and Riyadh facilities where it showcased its range of temporary buildings and cargo containers, boom lifts, scissor lifts and steam boilers, AC units and hoist & access machines .

Held in February and March, the events represented the first time Byrne has held a product open day in Saudi Arabia.

James Dodgson, general manager of Byrne’s KSA operations,“This is the first time we have held events of this kind in the Kingdom and they have all been a huge success. While we have built great relationships with our existing clients over the years, it is important to take the time to welcome them, meet face to face and showcase our products, services, and the full one stop solution that we can offer.

“We have a lot of customers that are long standing but we have always stayed in our lane with them; now it’s about showcasing all the other products and services that we can supply that they may not have been aware of before. This kind of relaxed, informal setting is the perfect way to inform and update our clients.

“We are at an exciting point in time for the industry and the country and we are delighted to be involved in so many exciting projects that are shaping the future of KSA. With Vision 2030, the government is working towards creating a more diverse and sustainable economy which we fully support and are aligning our operations accordingly.”

Elsewhere, the company also exhibited equipment designed for the oil and gas industry at its Abu Dhabi base, while equipment for the events and construction sectors was shown at its Dubai base.

Emily Stracey, sales supervisor for Byrne’s events division in UAE, said, “These open days are a great way of networking and catching up with our clients, old and new, in an informal setting as opposed to being on-site or at a meeting. The events industry in UAE is picking up and we have had a busy start to the year. 2023 is looking like another busy year for our team which is fantastic after the slowdown of the industry in the aftermath of the pandemic.”

Founded in the 1990’s, Byrne Equipment Rental provides equipment rental solutions to a range of sectors, including oil & gas, construction & infrastructure, events, industrial & manufacturing, retail & commercial and marine & ports.

Last year the company also held an open day at its Oman branch to promote its offering to the growing local market.
