UK-based Cadman Cranes has taken delivery of its first Liebherr mobile crane, a 70-tonne capacity LTM 1070-4.2.

The Colchester company, which serves Essex and East Anglia, now offers a fleet of 22 cranes, including mini crawler cranes, truck-mounted and all-terrain models, and a specialist midi crawler crane with telescopic boom and rotating grab.

Cadman Cranes ordered the LTM 1070-4.2 with high specs, it says. The model has been supplied with a 9.5 to 17 m double wrap-around fly jib which can be offset to 0°, 20°, 40° and 60°. The fly jib also has an integrated 3.2 m assembly jib with a set of sheaves, which can also be offset to 0°, 20°, 40° and 60°.

A 38.3 tonne hookblock with three sheaves and a 16.9 tonne hookblock with one sheave have also been supplied and the 10.7 tonne basic counter weight is augmented by an additional 3.80 tonne of ballast.

Cadman Cranes' LTM 1070-4.2 also has some additional operational safety features, which include twin working floodlights, aircraft warning light, working area limitation and the LICCON Lift Planner system.
