Hewden national accounts manager Matt Bloor has been recognised by UK-based contractor Carillion for his work in pushing the company's plant safety and operational policies and procedures.

Bloor received a Values Award from Carillion following a year of working closely with Charlie Holland, managed plant compliance manager, and the rest of the team at Carillion, to facilitate open forum discussions between Hewden and Carillion team members to promote best practise onsite. The meetings have helped minimise onsite issues, said Hewden.

UK rental company Hewden provides Carillion with plant, cranes and access equipment on a national scale.

Introduced in 2002, the Carillion Values Award is aimed at recognising teams or individuals who have gone the extra mile and demonstrated outstanding performance.
