Former Loxam executive Carole Cossu has joined Wynne Systems as business development manager for Europe.

Ms Cossu (formerly Carole Malval), who is based in Munich, Germany, will be responsible for extending the European customer base for Wynne's RentalMan and InfoManager software. She will work with Wynne's European general manager, Kris Brusselmans, who is located at Wynne's European head office in Antwerp, Belgium.

Before joining Wynne at the start of January, Ms Cossu work experience had included almost seven years working with Loxam in Paris. When she left the company in October 2008 she was part of Loxam's management team involved in mergers and acquisitions, quality control and information systems. Prior to that she worked with accountants Arthur Anderson and as an auditor at Bull, the developer of software and servers.

Ms Cossu, who took a year long sabbatical from work after leaving Loxam, has been an active participant in the European Rental Association, working with the statistics committee.

Wynne Systems has been expanding its European operation in recent years. In addition to the appointment of Mr Brusselmans, the company recently appointed Erwin Luijten as its senior project manager in Europe. Wynne customers in Europe include Loxam and Atlas Copco Specialty Rentals.
