CDE, a leading supplier of sand and aggregate washing solutions for the waste recycling and natural processing sectors, has promoted Sarah Corr as its new vice president in the Americas.

Effective next month, the promotion is the latest in a series of recent announcements made by the company as it continues to invest in the region, localising further, building infrastructure and expanding its team as it prepares for the ConExpo exhibition in Las Vegas, USA, starting on 14 March.

It follows the recent appointment of industry expert Joe Teague as vice president of sales.

CDE said Sarah – most recently head of marketing at the Northern Ireland-based company – has vast knowledge of the Americas market.

In her new role, Sarah will directly input into the strategic direction and growth of CDE in the region as well as leading the in-country sales, operations and aftercare teams.

She will identify opportunities for growth and strengthen CDE’s ties with partners, suppliers and representatives in the industry, as well as oversee the development of CDE’s centre of excellence in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas.

“This is an industry that’s extremely innovative, one that offers many opportunities,” said Sarah.

“I would like to shine a light on that for people who may not have considered it before, including women.”

CDE director Darren Eastwood added: “Sarah’s market experience alongside her ability to bring out the best in people is a winning combination. She is a trusted leader capable of delivering on our plans for the future..”

Sarah and the wider team will be showcasing CDE at the ConExpo exhibition in Las Vegas, USA, starting on 14 March.
