08 April 2013

The UK-based Construction Equipment Association (CEA) has launched a brochure for Bauma outlining details of more than 40 UK exhibitors. The document covers companies that can be found on the UK pavilion in Hall A5, as well as others around the exhibition.

The UK presence at Bauma includes equipment manufacturers, components suppliers and other service providers to the industry. According to the CEA, the UK construction equipment industry is worth US$ 13.5 billion per year and employs over 50,000 people.

Among other initiatives, the CEA will use Bauma to promote the new Plantworx construction equipment exhibition, which takes place in Stoneleigh, UK from May 14 – 16 this year. More details are available from the Plantworx stand, which is part of the UK pavilion in Hall A5, or from www.plantworx.co.uk.

The UK pavilion at Bauma has been sponsored by UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), the government agency tasked with supporting UK companies in the global economy. It provides advice and practical support to UK companies, and also helps foreign entities to invest in the UK.
