Central Demolition is to recruit six new employees on various apprenticeship programmes as part of its commitment to investing in future talent for the demolition industry.
The apprentices will be recruited into demolition operative, plant fitter, light vehicle mechanic, welder and spray painter roles.
They will have training towards a formal qualification as well as gaining practical experience working for the company. The apprenticeships are being delivered in conjunction with Central’s external training partners.
Ross Craig, managing director of Central Demolition, said: “We are delighted to be able to offer local young people the chance to gain valuable work experience whilst learning a trade that will hopefully help them towards a long and successful career.
“Our company, and the demolition industry as a whole, needs new talent to remain competitive and sustainable, so we are happy to continue investing in apprenticeships.”
