Chicago Pneumatic has added to its portfolio of generator products with the launch of a new 50Hz and 60Hz stationary generator range.

Daniel Escuer, product marketing manager for power, said, “Our new CPSG units are built to withstand the toughest worksite conditions, making them ideal for operators seeking a consistent source of primary power while working day in and day out in a wide variety of construction applications.

"The introduction of our new stationary generators also means we are now able to offer a complete generator offering, encompassing portable, mobile and stationary products, for the first time.”

The company said the new CPSG stationary generators were based on a frame-and-canopy design, making them suitable for stationary applications. The corrosion-resistant canopy is said to give long-lasting durability while a rugged base adds impact resistance and extra protection for sensitive areas of the unit.

Available in 50Hz and 60Hz versions, Chicago Pneumatic said the CPSG units were capable of operating at high working temperatures, while 45º doors provided accessibility for maintenance.

Additional features of the CPSG units are said to include an advanced control panel to enable users to control and operate it remotely, as well as controllable noise isolation, a lockable fuel filling cap, a robust terminal board that is suitable for connection with or without clamps, and easy fuel tank cleaning access to prevent damage from contaminants.
