Chicago Pneumatic to unveil new light towers

Chicago Pneumatic is preparing to launch two new light towers in April. The new CPLT M12 light tower with manual mast and the CPLT H5 light tower with hydraulic mast will be aimed at the international market.

The CPLT M12 will feature energy-efficient metal halide lamp technology and will be able to generate 440000 lumens of lighting power. Available in both 50 Hz and 60 Hz versions, this new model will also feature a canopy design with a pop-up top for improved serviceability. A Kubota D1105 engine, providing 60-70 hours of autonomous use at 4 kW, powers the light tower.

The CPLT H5 tower, which will be aimed at the European market, will feature a heavy-duty canopy. The CPLT H5 will feature four 1000 W metal halide lamps and be powered by a Kubota engine. The CPLT H5 is also equipped with digital control panel, called the LC 1003. This was specially developed for light towers with lamp sequencing, timer and fuel-saving features.
