China's largest among AEM members

Five crane and lifting equipment manufacturers have recently joined the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), headquartered in the US. Three are from China and two are from the US.

Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group (XCMG), headquartered in Jiangsu, is China's largest crane and construction equipment manufacturer.

Changsha Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science and Technology Development Co., based in Hunan, is China's second largest crane manufacturer. In the range are truck cranes and China's largest crawler crane, among other types of construction equipment.

Foton Lovol International Heavy Industry Co. Ltd., headquartered in Shandong, manufactures construction machinery and showed a new 25 tonne capacity wheeled mobile telescopic truck crane at the Bauma China trade show last November (IC February, page 28).

Lift Systems, headquartered in Illinois, US, and SpanDeck, headquartered in Tennessee, are also new members of the international trade group, which provides business-development resources forlargest crane companies that manufacture and market construction and agricultural equipment, products and services.
