Netherlands-based Collé Rental & Sales has ordered 600 electric scissors from Magni Telescopic Handlers. The scissors are made by Dingli in China and sold in Europe under the Magni brand following the alliance between the two companies announced early last year.

The order is for the ES0607E and ES1412E models and was confirmed in January with the first machines to be delivered in March or April. It follows last year’s 260 unit contract with Danish rental company G.S.V. Materieludlejning A/S.

Riccardo Magni, president of Magni Telescopic Handlers, speaking to IRN at the Samoter exhibition, said; "We're having success with the two new scissors so far. The big orders from Collé and GSV represent a very good start for us. We hope the success will continue with these products."

The smaller of the two machines, the ES0607E, has a 6m working height while the ES1412E is a 14m unit. The two scissors were shown by Magni at the Samoter exhibition in Verona, Italy.

Magni and Dingli previously announced that they were working together on the development of a new range of telescopic and articulated booms.
