Conquest MB I, a 1500 ton offshore heavy lift crane barge from Conquest Offshore, unloads hulls at Flushing, the Netherlands

Conquest MB I, a 1,500 tonne offshore heavy lift crane barge from Conquest Offshore is unloading six hulls at Flushing, the Netherlands.

The hulls, which were built in China, were loaded onto the barge NP 328, which was towed to Flushing by the newly built tugboat Dutch Blue from Holland Offshore BV.

The deck of the heavy duty barge was 136 x 36 metres, with a total deck space of approx 4,900 m2. The crane had a 1,500 tonne lifting capacity and a 63 – 75 m (207 - 246 ft) heavy duty double boom and a 97 - 124 m (318 - 400 ft) long single boom.

Conquest Offshore BV is a Dutch joint venture between Concordia Offshore BV and Zwagerman Offshore Services BV for offshore transportation, removal, refurbishment and construction activities.
