Cramo rebrands Theisen operations

Finnish rental company Cramo has announced that Germany-based Theisen Baumaschinen, which it acquired in 2011, has now adopted the Cramo brand.

Cramo said Theisen had broadened the range of products and services it offered and harmonised its business model to the Cramo standard. The brand change took effect 1 October.

“This is much more than a name change”, said Cramo CEO Vesa Koivula. “Theisen has been a well-known and respected player in the Central European rental market for many years. However, in many respects the Central European markets differ from the North European markets.

“By introducing the Cramo brand we are also introducing the Cramo Rental Concept with full range of products and services for the entire construction industry, for example, construction equipment, tools, access equipment and modular space, including high standard wooden modular space for office, school and day care purposes.”

And, Cramo head of sales Steffen Hanus, added, “In many ways we are pioneering the German, Austrian and Hungarian rental markets. I am totally convinced that our existing customers, as well as many others in the Central European construction industry, will appreciate the new service level and experience what we promise them – a great day at work.”
