Crushers-UK unveils new mobile City-Jaw crusher

The Series 2 City-Jaw 1830 mobile jaw crusher has been launched by Crushers-UK, based in a new facility in Fazeley, near Tamworth, UK, aimed squarely at the demolition and waste recycling industries, and also the quarrying sector. The design of the new model, which supersedes the Series 1 machine, makes it more accessible to users and improves its functionality, says the company.
Weighing in at 24 tonnes, 2 tonnes heavier than its predecessor, the 1830 has an extended conveyor to give a discharge height of 2.75 m (9 ft) an lager tracks, higher ground clearance and an extra platform area for easier maintenance. With the jaw setting at 100 mm, the machine has an hourly capacity of up to 120 tonnes per hour, depending on material type.
Design director Greg Shipley said: "The City-Jaw 1830 is primarily designed for demolition, quarrying and waste recycling. However, it can also be brought in to quickly and effectively clear rubble, in areas of the world hit by earthquakes, flood and other natural disasters. It can also be flat packed into a 40ft container and shipped anywhere in the world."
The 1830 also features dust suppression, a magnetic separator, load-weigher and LED lighting. Fitted with the latest Pramac GSW 110 55kw generator, it comes with a number of extras, such as additional sockets for power tools, a bio fuel option, a tracking system and remote monitoring.
