Czech manufacturer NTC sells rental business to Ramirent

Czech Republic compaction and concreting equipment manufacturer NTC Stavební Tecnika spol sro (NTC) has sold its rental division to Ramirent for an undisclosed sum.

The deal adds three branches and seven staff to Ramirent's existing operation in the country. The three new outlets are in Hradec Králove, Pardubice and Ceska Skalice.

"The acquisition is in line with Ramirent's strategy of developing a nation-wide coverage in its markets", said says Tomasz Walawender, senior vice president, Ramirent Europe Central.

"NTC has a geographical presence which complements Ramirent's existing network and brings us closer to our customers in the East Bohemia region in Czech Republic."

NTC, which was founded in 1991 and is based in Česká Skalice, will continue as a manufacturer of light compaction and concreting equipment. The company's product range includes plate compactors, rammers, walk-behind rollers, power trowels, concrete vibrators, vibratory screeds, portable generators, concrete saws and table saws.
