The KHL Group, publisher of Demolition & Recycling International (D&Ri) magazine and organiser of the World Demolition Summit and Awards, has become the International Media Partner of the European Demolition Association (EDA).

Events director Murray Pollok joined EDA president William Sinclair for the signing of the agreement between the parties, which took place at the recent EDA Convention in Glasgow.

Murray said: “We have been working with the EDA for many years and this agreement reinforces that relationship.

“We are delighted to be the association’s International Media Partner and look forward to using our range of print, online and social media to help promote the EDA and its goals to our international readership across more than 150 countries.”

Under the agreement, all EDA members are entitled to receive their own copy of D&Ri, which will have editorial content in each issue dedicated to news announcements and updates from the EDA.

The agreement also includes a reciprocal arrangement where the EDA will receive exhibition space at D&Ri events, and vice versa.

The working relationship between D&Ri and the EDA is long standing, with the magazine having organised the World Demolition Summit (WDS) in co-operation with the association since the start of the event in 2009.

The EDA is also a supporting organisation for this year’s WDS, which takes place in Miami, USA on October 14.
