Following a successful first show in February 2011, the organisers of bC India have set the dates for the next event at 5 to 8 February 2013. As previously, the show will be held at the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) Grounds, which are part of the Bandra Kurla commercial complex, near Mumbai Airport.

The exhibition is a joint venture between the international arm of Messe München (MMI), which organises the Bauma and Bauma China exhibitions, among others, and the US-based Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), which organises ConExpo-Con/Agg.

The first bC India exhibition attracted 508 exhibitors, which took 88000 m2 of space, and the organisers said they had a further 100 companies on the waiting list. Following the show, the organisers had expressed a desire to find a larger site, while staying in Mumbai. However, the decision has now been taken to stay at the MMRDA Grounds, but with a total of 130000 m2 of space available to exhibitors

Thomas Löffler, CEO of bC Expo India said, "We are pleased to offer significantly more space at the next bC India at the MMRDA Grounds - Bandra Kurla Complex to capitalise on this location's industrial and logistical advantages. Furthermore, the quality of business visitors which was rated very high at the first edition supported our decision to hold bC India 2013 again in Mumbai."
