Diary dates for IDE events

30 November 2011

The Institute of Demolition Engineers has announced dates for a number of its activities in 2012. Its first seminar, held as usual at the Royal Armouries in Leeds, UK, will take place on 24 February 2012 from 9.30 am to 6.30 pm. Details of the programme, as with the EDA's event, are sketchy at the time of going to press but D&Ri understands that one presentation will cover the issues surrounding nuclear decommissioning and dismantling.

There will also be a number of informal regional meetings throughout the year as well as a number of workshops. The IDE advises that members should periodically check its website for further information on these events.

The Annual Golf Day will be held on 28 June at the London Golf Club in Ash, near Brands Hatch motor racing track in Kent.

Finally, the 2012 IDE Annual Luncheon will take place on 16 November at Lord's Cricket Ground in London, home of the MCC.
