The Dingli and TüV Rheinland partnership was agreed at Bauma China.

Dingli has appointed Germany-based TüV Rheinland to provide third party CE certification for its aerial work platforms.

A ceremony to mark the accreditation agreement took place at Bauma China in Shanghai during November.

China-based Dingli previously used SGS for its certification, and a company spokesman said, “Dingli has always respected the work that SGS has done to verify and approve its products for CE certification.”

Concerning TüV the spokesman added, “TüV Rheinland has a reputation as one of the strictest certification companies for machinery accreditation, and Dingli is looking to work more closely with the company to help further improve its current range of platforms in order to better serve the European market.”

A spokesman for TüV Rheinland explained that the company had been working with Dingli on product safety and quality for some time. “Today their excellent brand reputation and overwhelming market share [in China] accounts for the endeavour and commitment to the quality from the company’s leadership to its operations. TüV Rheinland is always here to support local brands’ access to the international market with our great expertise and experience.”

Dingli sales and marketing manager Harry Chen added, “Since we began exporting we have understood the importance of working with a notified body to obtain third party certification for our products and SGS has been a good partner. However we see even greater benefits in working closely with TüV, in order to achieve the long term aims we have to become a significant and serious participant in the world market for powered access.”
