Compact equipment specialist Bobcat has announced the launch of the new S650 skid steer loader as well as four new rotary telehandlers.

The vertical lift path S650 is claimed by the company to be the first of a new generation of machines that revolutionises the design of skid steer and compact tracked loaders. It weighs in at 3,777 kg (8,310 lb), has a rated operating capacity of 1,220 kg (2,684 lb) and a tipping load of 2,440 kg (5,368 lb).

The machine features the new forward positioned Premium cab design that offers 30% greater all-round visibility as well as 40% greater forward visibility as a result of its larger door. It also provides a significant increase in power and hydraulic performance to boost productivity, enhance attachment performance and faster cycle times, said the company.

The four new telehandlers (TR35160, TR45190, TR50210 and TR40250) weigh in at 13.1 tonnes through to 17.5 tonnes, offer reaches from 15.7 m (51.5 ft) through to 24.5 m (80.4 ft) and capacities from 3.5 to 5 tonnes. According to Bobcat, they have joined the company's range of 12 rigid telehandlers because of increased demand for this type of machine.
