The 42 tonne DX420LC-3 and 49 tonne DX490LC-3 Stage IIIB compliant crawler excavators will be new on the Doosan stand.

These machines feature Tier 4 Interim-compliant engines that are said to result in 19% more engine power on the DX420LC-3 (270kW) and 16% more power on the DX490LC-3 (290kW) compared to previous models.

New wheeled excavators on show will include the DX140W-3 and DX160W-3 models, while the DX380LC-3 large crawler excavator for the 24 to 42 tonne market will also be on show, together with the DL200-3, DL250-3 and DL550-3 wheeled loaders, with bucket capacities of 2m3, 2.5m3 and 5.4m3 respectively.

In addition, a new range of quick coupler systems for Doosan DL200-3 to DL420-3 Stage IIIB-compliant wheeled loaders will also be shown for the first time at the event. Attachments for use with the couplers, including pallet forks and buckets, will also be on show.

Doosan Portable Power, meanwhile, will be showcasing its new 21/220 and 25/280 large Stage IIIB portable compressors and new G80-IIIA (80kVA prime power) and G100-IIIA (100kVA prime power) generators for the first time.

The 21/220 and 25/280 models are powered by 254kW and 345kW engines respectively and are used to provide compressed air to power construction machines, while the G80-IIIA and G100-IIIA generators are targeted at general industry and rental customers.

Bobcat

Bauma will see the first showing of Doosan's compact brand, Bobcat's new 500 platform compact loaders, which includes the S510, S530, S550, S570 and S590 skid-steer loaders and the T590 compact tracked loader.

The 500 range follows the introduction of the larger 600, 700 and 800 platforms over the past two years and comprises models with operating weighs in the 2.7 tonne to 3 tonne range.

The S510 and S550 models are radius lift path loaders, while the S530, S570, S590 and T590 models have vertical lift path boom arms particularly suited to lift and carry and material handling applications.

Examples of improvements include a 10% larger cab, with the surface area of the door increased by 40% to improve visibility and make it easier to enter and exit the machine. Windows on the sides and rear of the cab have been increased in size to provide more visibility to the tyres or tracks and the back of the machine.
