The European Decontamination Institute (EDI)’s Forum brought together industry professionals to discuss how to deal with hazardous waste in the future.
Organised in collaboration with national decontamination associations and held in Brussels, Belgium, the theme of the event was “Beyond Asbestos.”
Panellists were Patrick Frye (Cardem), Stephen Schindler (European Federation of Building and Woodworkers), Jan Bork (Bork Sloopwerken), Wouter Gevaerts (Arcadis), Igor Kecskés-Maconkai (Rivningsentreprenad Group) and Gunther Wolff (DG Environment, European Commission).
The EDI described the forum as the “first activity of the institute to bring together related professionals to promote and protect the interests of the decontamination industry in Europe.”
