Eiffage posts decreased revenues

French construction company Eiffage has recorded a decrease of 0.6% in its revenues of €13.9 billion for 2015, compared with 2014.

The company said it expected such results.

Operations in France were down 3.9% year-on-year to €8.85 billion, while its construction division was down 8.1% to €2.79 billion, and its infrastructure division was down 7.7% to €3.22 billion.

However, the company’s contracting division, its European subsidiaries and its recent developments in Canada and Columbia fuelled the group’s international operations by 8.9% to €2.62 billion.

Eiffage’s profits also grew 0.7% to €1.43 billion.

The company said its order book for 2016 stood at €11.4 billion, down 2.8% from the previous year.
