German crane service provider Eineder Autodienst has added a Terex Explorer 5800 all terrain crane to its fleet.

The five-axle model has all-wheel steering and a 70 metre five-section boom. It is 13.2 m long and 3 m wide. The 70.2 tonnes of counterweight can be mounted automatically and its outrigger system has four available positions and a maximum width of 8.4 m. The crane is powered by a single Stage IV and Tier 4 Final engine. Additional features include a wireless remote control, Terex IC-1 touchscreen control system and a 2.85 m wide carrier cab.

Peter Eineder, Eineder Autodienst, said, “The single-engine design behind the Terex Explorer 5800 crane is the system of the future. It saves gas and eliminates a bunch of maintenance work, all while giving us the power we need, when we need it. In other words, we get great performance from a single engine, regardless of whether the crane is travelling or lifting.”
