Elliott Equipment Company introduced new aerial work platforms at ICUEE last week, including the M85, M43 and the track-mounted 34127R BoomTruck.

The truck-mounted M85 HiReach material handling aerial work platform features a 87 feet of working height on a non-CDL truck chassis. The unit features 60 feet of side reach. Elliott increased platform capacity, redesigned he platform rotation and self leveling mechanisms and removed the external cable carrier to the platform.

The M85 offers a 750-pound capacity 30-inch by 54-inch platform, an internal cable carrier system to deliver options like electric and hydraulic tool circuits to the platform, and full 180 degree platform rotation to allow the operator to stow the platform parallel with the boom. The unit also features an optional platform material handling jib with 500-pound capacity.

The company's new 34127R BoomTruck, features a rear-mounted 127-foot boom with a 34-ton rated capacity mounted on a 15SXW-HF PowerTraxx vehicle. Designed with utility companies in mind, the company said, this new product release responds to industry demand for bigger and stronger tracked boom trucks for off-road utility work.

The 34127R is the largest tracked BoomTruck ever mounted by Elliott, with a maximum tip height of 137 feet and a jib/platform option with a maximum platform height of 186 feet.

The 275 hp PowerTraxx tracked vehicle allows operators to maneuver the boom truck into inaccessible areas using two sets of 40-inch wide D-dent tracks and a hydrostatic drive system. Elliott's rugged features include an enclosed crane control cab with heating/AC, a 12,800-pound bare drum pull boom winch, and an optional 30,000-pound low mount recovery winch, for maximum performance and comfort.

Elliott also had its M43 HiReach aerial work platform on display at the show. The M43 features 48 feet of working height, 36 feet of working side reach, and Elliott's 30-inch by 54-inch EZR rotating and removable work platform system. Other features include a narrow outrigger spread, 110 volt line to platform and room for toolboxes.
