Entries flood in for World Demolition Awards

The World Demolition Awards take place in Miami on the evening of October 14 – after the World Demolition Summit and before the National Demolition Association’s (NDA) autumn meeting the next day.
Organised by Demolition & Recycling International (D&Ri) magazine in co-operation with the NDA, this will be the first time the event has taken place in the US.
And companies from North and South America, Europe and Australasia have submitted their entries across the 11 categories making up the awards, which include two categories for Contract of the Year depending on contract value.
The shortlisting process is imminent and the companies whose entries make it to the final stage of judging will be notified in August. The winners will be honoured at the World Demolition Awards dinner, with a further award for the overall winner from the various categories to be presented on the night.
