ERA and CECE co-hosting DigiPlace workshop

The ERA is proud to be a member of the Advisory Board of the EU-funded project DigiPLACE, an ambitious attempt to enable the creation of a digital platform that could integrate the different technologies, applications and services currently existing in digital construction.

On 30 June in Hannover,Germany, the ERA and CECE will co-organise a DigiPLACE workshop on the topic of “The role of digital platforms in construction machinery automation”.

The workshop will be hosted by Komatsu Germany. The participants will have an opportunity to learn more about the project and witness a machine automation live demo. Some workshop sessions are scheduled in the afternoon on the topics of automation and data for telematics.

The workshop was initially planned on 29 April but has been postponed to the end of June due to the COVID-19 outbreak across Europe. For those who had already registered for the workshop on 29 April, please keep the date since an online information session will be organised that same day from 10.00am through 11.30am.
