Euroconstruct to look at global markets

04 October 2012

The next Euroconstruct conference in Munich on 12th December will for the first time include presentations on construction markets outside Europe. Staff from government development agency from Germany Trade and Investment (GTAI) will look at construction trends in Asia, the Americas and Turkey.

In addition, economists from Euroconstruct's member associations will present forecasts for the European construction sector. These will include presentations on the housing, non-residential and civil engineering markets, as well as an overview of the region.

Euroconstruct's last conference, held earlier this year in London heard that construction activity in Europe is expected to fall -2% this year. Non-residential construction and civil engineering are expected to see the steepest declines, with the residential segment losing only -0;5% of its value.

The next Euroconstruct Conference will take place on 12th December in the Bayerischer Hof Hotel in Munich, Germany and will be organized by the Ifo Institute. Click here for more information.
