Europlatform ‘early bird’ rates available until 15 July

06 July 2011

The ‘early bird' rate for the Europlatform access rental conference is available until Friday 15 July. The theme this year is Financing Growth and the line-up is once again very strong with speakers including Alexandre Saubot, Kevin Appleton and Loxam's mergers and acquisitions specialist, Maëg Videau.

Delegates can book online at www.europlatform.info. (Please note that companies can book tickets now at the low rate and subsequently change the names of delegates.)

Europlatform takes place on Tuesday 13 September - the day before the APEX exhibition - and speakers confirmed so far include:

Alexandre Saubot (COO, Haulotte)
Managing the Growth Cycle

Kevin Appleton (former Lavendon CEO)
Generating Sustainable Returns in Access Rental

Maëg Videau (Director of Financing/M&A, Loxam)
Making Successful Acquisitions

Charles Miller (CL Miller Consulting, ex-Sunbelt executive)
Managing your Salesforce

Bruce Williams (Managing Director EAME, JLG Financial Solutions)
Funding Growth

The entire conference will be simultaneously translated into German, Spanish and Italian. (Simultanübersetzung auf Deutsch. Traducción simultánea al Español. Interpretazione simultanea in italiano.)

Alexandre Saubot's keynote address will discuss what the access rental sector has learned from the crisis and how to better manage business cycles, and Kevin Appleton will argue that rental companies should use the financial measure return on capital employed (ROCE) to generate sustained profits.

Loxam's mergers and acquisitions specialist Maëg Videau will explain how to make successful acquisitions. Current trends in financing, and how to obtain capital investment funds, will be covered by Bruce Williams, the highly experienced head of JLG's finance arm in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Rental consultant and former Sunbelt Rental executive Charles Miller will share his expertise on how best to manage and incentivise a rental sales force.

Europlatform, which is jointly organised by Access International magazine and IPAF, takes place at the MECC exhibition and congress centre in Maastricht. That is the same venue as the APEX exhibition, which is being held on the three following days (14-16 September). See www.APEXshow.com for details.
