Fifteen rental software, asset tracking and anti-theft companies will exhibit at the IRE show making it the perfect place to investigate the latest rental IT solutions.

Rental software companies exhibiting are Activewhere, Armada Dynamics AS, DAGICO Software, PreferRent (ERP PRO), InspHire International, Lawson Software, MCS, Result Group, Sycor and Wynne Systems.

This list includes the well known international rental software specialists as well as some companies that may be new to visitors, including Portuguese company Activewhere and Latvian rental software company PreferRent.

Things to look out for include iPad and smartphone enabled software, with mobile workforce systems being a key rental issues just now.

The five asset tracking and anti-theft companies are Datatag ID, Guard Systems, iQue RFID Technologies, Kosran ECV and M-tec A/S.

Notable here will be the European launch of UK company Datatag's anti-theft equipment identification systems that form the cornerstone of the UK's CESAR anti-theft initiative.

Kosran, meanwhile, is introducing a web sales tool to allow rental companies worldwide to buy its machine immobilisation products.
