Carlo Mastrogiacomo takes delivery of the new PLA 168 from Giuseppe Maiullari, with CMC's first machine, a PLA16, in the background.

CMC has welcomed back the first AWP it produced in its factory 18 years ago.

The 16m working height PLA16 truck mount was bought by rental company Co.Mai, based in Altamura, Italy, back in 1998 and was in continual operation until company founder Giuseppe Maiullari recently decided to replace the unit with a new model, a PLA 168.

When Gaspare Caradonna, sales manager at Italy-based CMC, learned of the old truck mount’s place in the history of the company, he decided it should be returned hone - to CMC's new headquarters in Altamura, where it will take pride of place.
