The first speaker has been announced for the International Cranes and Transport Turkey conference being held in Istanbul on 8 May 2014. Nabil Al Zahlawi, NFT Cranes managing partner, will talk about, among other topics, the ongoing project to construct a new Bosphorus bridge crossing between the west and east sides of Istanbul.

In 1994 Nabil Al Zahlawi started NFT with 20 cranes for rental and 10 employees. It is now one of the largest tower crane rental companies in the world with almost 1,000 cranes, 200 hoists and 600 employees. NFT holds more than 60 % market share in the GCC countries and the Middle East. Based in Abu Dhabi, NFT also operates in Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Canada, France, Hong Kong, India, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Syria, Taiwan.

Other prestigious projects NFT cranes have been used on are the Kingdom Tower in Saudi Arabia, the Pearl in Qatar, the World Trade Center in Bahrain, Sheikh Khalifa tower and Marina 101 in Dubai.
