Nagano na90za launched at Apex called the HA09ZA by Hanix.

Hanix will be launching a new range of tracked aerial platforms to the UK at the Executive Hire Show, on 11-12 February at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry.

Manufactured in Japan by Nagano there are currently three models in the range. These were first seen in Europe at the APEX exhibition, shown by Nagano Hoogwerkers, an offshoot of the Dutch company Kemp.

In Japan this range of aerial platforms is said to have a 44% share of the Japanese track base platform market. Hanix is confident that the European market will also recognise the benefits and advantages of the product. One of the aerial platform models, the HA09ZA, a 9 m sigma boom machine, will be exhibited at the Executive Hire Show.

The machines - two articulated booms and a sigma-boom type platform- have in common tracked crawler carriages are of a `triangle' construction. This means the lower rails are coupled to a turning pin the middle and should the machine pass over an obstacle the lower roll can move up and not disturb the equilibrium of the platform

The 3.1m by 2 m basket has a 600kg capacity and has the additional flexibility of being extendable 5 m from the undercarriage.

Hanix has also announced the appointment of a specialist service partner IPS Ltd whose primary role will be to manage the ongoing service and parts requirements of customers. IPS will also be available on the Hanix stand during the Executive Hire Show.
