Fleet investment for FLG Services

16 October 2015

Lifting equipment rental company FLG Services, part of UK-headquartered Ashtead group (which also owns A-Plant), has expanded its fleet with the addition of new lifting trucks.

The company said it made a “significant investment” in powered stacker trucks and powered pallet trucks from manufacturer Linde UK. The models purchased were the 2 tonne capacity L12 Electric Stacker Truck and the T20 Powered Pallet Truck., which has a 1.2 tonne capacity.

Director at FLG Services Jeff Hudson said, “Investment in new equipment is based firmly on customer demand and these machines have been brought into our fleet as they offer optimum efficiency, safety and flexibility to meet the needs of our diverse customer base, from construction to warehousing.

“As part of this investment, we’ve also purchased full diagnostic software, allowing us to offer our clients a rapid response to any faults on-site and limiting down-time to a minimum. We believe we now have one of the largest, most modern fleets of Lifting Equipment for hire anywhere in the UK.”
