Forini takes Terex AWP EMEAR directorship

Carlo Forini has been appointed director of business development and product management at Terex Aerial Work Platforms (AWP) for Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Russia (EMEAR). He reports directly to Joe George, vice president and managing director EMEAR.
Mr Forini will be based in Schaffhausen, Switzerland. As part of the product management team, Gert de Boon, telehandler product manager for EMEAR, will now report to him.
In the newly created role, Mr Forini will be responsible for developing an EMEAR-specific product line strategy. He will also work with other areas, including engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, sales, operations and aftermarket parts/service and finance, to combine global and EMEAR initiatives. Additionally he will be identifying and evaluating opportunities to profitably grow the European business through internal and external partnerships in key markets.
Mr Forini joined Terex Lift in 1998 as factory export manager. Since then he has held a number of senior positions, including sales director for Terex Lift, global product general manager at Terex AWP, and most recently general manager of Terex Port Solutions, Italy.
