Its theme is “Beyond Asbestos” and it will focus on the challenges and opportunities of decontamination in the hazardous waste industry.

Organised by the EDI in co-operation with the European Demolition Association (EDA), the event is free of charge to attend.

However, anyone wishing to attend does need to register on the EDI website in advance. Registration includes participation in the Forum, accreditation, list of participants, coffee breaks and a networking lunch.

Panellists at the event include Patrick Frye, technical director of French demolition company Cardem and a board member of the EDA; Stephen Schindler from European Federation of Builders and Woodworkers; and Gunther Wolff of the European Commission’s Directorate General for the Environment.
