Frizell ups capacity with a Terex Finlay 883+

30 March 2015

TW Frizell (Haulage and Plant Hire) has taken delivery of a Terex Finlay 883+ tracked screen that joins a Terex Finlay J-1170 jaw crusher supplied six months ago, with both machines supplied by Finlay Central. Both machines are currently operating at the company’s new recycling centre established in Stoke-on-Trent, although both are available on hire for contract crushing and screening.

The material that is brought to the site is fed through the J-1170 and into the 883+ to produce MOT, pipe bedding, filter media and topsoil. With increased site efficiency gained from both machines working hand in hand, 95 percent of material brought to the centre is recycled and processed at a much greater speed.

The Terex Finlay 883+ has the capacity to process at a rate of up to 500 tonnes per hour and has been designed to work on its own or after a primary crusher. The plant features a modular configuration screen box with a 4.9 x 1.6 m (16 x 5 ft) top deck and bottom deck screen, with optional features to permit tines or cassette frames to enable mesh fitting. Track mounted to maximise onsite portability and ease of operation, it also has three hydraulic folding stockpilers to provide increased production.
