Further growth for Kennards Hire Test & Measure

20 October 2015

Australian rental company Kennards Hire has continued to expand with the opening of a new Test & Measure specialist location out of the existing Kennards Hire branch in Balcatta, Perth.

The company said specialist products such as pipe cameras, pipe cable locators, thermal cameras, installation testers, cable analyser video microscopes, and pipe and cable locators that previously may have needed to be purchased are now available for hire to Perth’s electrical and communications industry professionals.

Rob Mommoliti, area manager in Perth, said, “We’ve had a significant amount of local interest in the new Test & Measure equipment.

“Some of our newer clients hadn’t been aware that Kennards Hire Test and Measure offered a service of this nature, but the feedback we have received so far is that we’re adding great value to the industry on a local level. In addition to the top shelf equipment we are stocking, we back ourselves to deliver an unparalleled standard of service and advice to our customers.”

Mr Mommoliti said he expected the new location would help grow the company’s business across hire of general tools and machinery, as well as the Test & Measure product stable.

“Plumbers, electricians and communications technicians in particular will quickly see and experience the benefits of the Test & Measure offering at Kennards Hire in Balcatta, but these products are not limited in their application. There is a vast range of jobs that require our Test & Measure equipment,” he said.

The new location is the latest in a string of specialist new openings and expansions, not just in the company’s Test & Move business but in other areas too – most recently in its rail rental operation, Kennards Hire Rail.
