Galmon has introduced the first JLG 1500AJP articulating boom in Southeast Asia, during an official launch at its headquarters in Singapore.

The 1500AJP is the biggest articulating boom in the world, and was first shown in Asia, during Bauma China in November last year.

“As a leading provider of mobile elevating work platforms in Asia, Galmon is committed to deliver the most advanced equipment. The JLG 1500AJP’s large working envelope, quick deployment and easy transportability is a welcome addition which broadens our product offerings,” said Galmon chief operating officer Shawn Ong.

The JLG 1500AJP features a working envelope of more than 74,000 square metres  of reachable space, a working height of 48.15m and an  unrestricted platform capacity of 272kg - 450kg restricted. The boom lift can also be raised from the ground to maximum platform height within three minutes.

In addition to the Ultraboom, Galmon, which has more than 3000 aerial work platforms in its fleet, has invested in JLG’s newly designed R-series scissor lifts, the 1932R and 4045R, as well as JLG’s newest and largest rough terrain scissor lift, the 530LRT, with a platform height of 16.15m.
