Singapore-based access equipment provider Galmon has become the first accredited training centre to offer Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) operator training approved by the Ministry of Manpower in Singapore.

Galmon is now offering a range of MEWP operator training courses, including a Boom Lift Operator Course (BLOC), Scissor Lift Operator Course (SLOC) and Vertical Personnel Platform Operator Course (VPPOC). All courses are available in both English and Mandarin and follow the syllabus and guidelines of the Curriculum Advisory Board (CAD).

Courses are offered in Galmon's 75000m2 training centre. In addition to the MEWP operator courses, Galmon also offers familiarisation and maintenance training.

Galmon recently celebrated its 30th anniversary with a donation of S$100000 (US$80000) to the SouthWest Community Development Council. The sales and rental company also published a book entitled ‘The Art of Rising Above & Beyond', detailing its 30-year history.
