UK-based, GAP Hire Solutions has launched a new London Tools & Access division that will supply a full range of contractors’ small tools and general access equipment to its customers within the M25 highway area.

The first five tool depots will open in Walthamstow, Wembley, Kentish Town, Heathrow and Docklands whilst the dedicated access depots will be located at Heathrow and Docklands too. A further five depots will open on a phased basis over the next year.

The new depots will equip London businesses and contractors with a full range of brand new small tools and general access equipment including Boss alloy tower, GRP (glass fibre) tower and low level powered access.

The strategic placing of the depots and the nature of supplying small tools means that GAP customers can benefit from fast delivery using a fleet of specialist vehicles ideally sized for small equipment. Access depots will only stock such equipment with its own specially designed vehicles that will require no towing. Customers can place orders and arrange for collection within 24 hours, whilst also benefitting from streamlined processes whereby the depot takes complete care of all paperwork to maximise time on site and value for money.

London Tools & Access division manager, Ricky Ellam, commented, ‘GAP’s newest division will be similar to its other seven divisions in that it will be service driven, with a focus on providing the newest and best equipment quickly and with minimum hassle for our customers.

“The depots will be placed next to major road networks in strategic locations within the M25 boundary so we can react quickly and offer great coverage of London. We are committed to adding value in the area by offering brand new equipment and we want to build sustainable relationships with our London customer base who require fast delivery of tools and access equipment.”
