Geda has launched the 2000 kg P22 hoist, adding to the Multilift series launched at Bauma in April.

With a maximum lifting speed of 54 m/min, the P22 transports materials up to 2000 kg or 22 people to a maximum 200 m height. It has a platform size of 1.4 m x 3.2 m x 2.1 m and allows the transport of bulky goods, such as plasterboards for interior work.

The patented Geda flat cable system is designed for fast and safe transportation to maximum height but according to the companty is also suitable for heights up to 100 m, with the cable being stored in the flat, space-saving cable bin.

At projects from 100 m height, the patented cable carriage comes into its own. “Designed as a space-saving device, the carriage provides easy entry height at the lowest landing of only 450 mm. The low threshold height is therefore not lost with the installation of the cable carriage,” said a company spokesman.

The Multilift P22 has been made easier to use with its practical diagnostic system, with pictorial malfunction LED display. The standard automatic control can be optionally replaced with the landing call box or a call control from the landing.

As with all Geda rack and pinion lifts, the automatic lubrication device is included as standard. This considerably reduces the wear on the toothed rack and pinion, said the company.
