A Geda 2 PK crane operator hoist is assisting construction works of the Tyresö View residential development in Stockholm.

Strabag is the contractor on the SEK 600 million (€67 million) multi-storey project, which will offer accommodation, retail, car parking and a landscaped park.

The Geda 2 PK hoist is being used on a Wolff crane to transport the crane operator to the top of the crane quickly and safely.

The rack and pinion hoist is designed to transport two persons to a maximum capacity of 200 kg in any weather, even in stormy conditions.

The hoisting speed is 25 m/min with a maximum lifting height of 150 m. At the Tyresö View construction site the maximum lifting height of the crane operator hoist is 110 m.
