German-based Bilfinger has sold its shares in two privately financed motorway projects − M6 Duna and M6 Tolna in Hungary.

The company had a 40% share in the M6 Duna project, and 45% in the M6 Tolna project. The buyer is a consortium consisting of Aberdeen Asset Management, Intertoll and the European Bank for Reconstruction & Development.

The sale of the shares is said to be worth around of €50 million.

Bilfinger announced it would sell its concessions portfolio in 2013, and the sale of the last two major projects means the company has now completed this process.
